Notating Music TUTORiAL

SYNTHiC4TE | April 07 2017 | 262 MB

Being able to notate music is a valuable skill for any musician to have. In this music theory course, master composer and arranger Gregg Fine explains all the fundamentals you need to start writing your own scores and lead sheets. Musical scores are fascinating. Using little black dots and strange, archaic symbols, composers are able to transcribe the music they hear in their heads onto paper, which musicians can then read to bring the music to life. While music notation can look very complex and difficult to learn, this course by master composer and arranger Gregg Fine is designed to make it easy and fun!

The course starts with a look at the staff system and the concept of clefs. Using just a pencil and a piece of paper, Greg shows you the dos and don’ts of drawing noteheads, stems, ledger lines, bar lines, etc. After teaching you the concept of meter, Greg shows you everything you need to know about writing note values, rests, and key signatures. As you progress through the tutorials, you get familiar with more advanced concepts such as slurs & ties, the grand staff, dynamic markings, and more.

Watching this course gives you a firm grasp on how music notation works, and how to create logical, easy-to-read scores. So pull out your pencil and score paper, and join our expert music theory expert Gregg Fine in this musical notation exposé!

The Basics Part 2

Let the real guitar playing starts

The 2nd part of this serious which picks up where we left off. It starts with learning notes on the 5th & 6th strings, then introduce the accidentals to fill in the spaces on the frets we left it.  Scales is one of the major issues we going to discuss by playing 2 major scales and 1 minor scale, and explain why they are important for your development as classical guitarist. We gonna take a look at 5 basic chord shapes that will help your left hand adapt and stretch your fingers, so the pieces we will play later will not be that hard on the left hand.  Then we going to switch our focus to the right hand, by learning the chord technique and how to play 2 or more notes at the same time. This section will be filled with exercises to make sure that you get the technique right, as this what differs the classical guitarist from other type of guitar playing like electric and folk.

After that we will be playing 3 of the most famous studies by famous classical guitar composers such as F. Carulli, Mateo Carcassi, and Mauro Giuliani that will take your playing to a whole new level.

Finally at the end we will take a look at one of the most important technique on guitar which is Arpeggio, and play one of the most famous Flamenco pieces of all time: The Malaguena.

So, here is your chance to really play classical guitar. All the lessons are broken down in easy to follow steps. I will not leave a single note, or technique not fully explained.

If you’ve playing guitar for months or even years and struggling to take your playing to the next level, this course is definitely for you. Reading standard music notation is a must for this course, so If you can’t read it why don’t you check out my first course in this serious then come back and continue with this one.

I really hope that you enjoy every lesson here, I know I did.

Harry “Choo Choo” Romero is one of the true pioneers of house music. He has been associated as an artist and producer on some of the biggest house records to date. As a member of several production groups including ‘Ministers De La Funk’ and the ‘Dronez’ which both include Subliminal Records Erick Morillo and Jose Nunez, Harry helped shape cutting edge house sounds that continue to this day. Some of his most famous and classic tracks include: “Hazin and Phazin” and the massive “Believe” which featured the mighty Jocelyn Brown. Harry has worked with a whole host of legendary labels including Toolroom, Ovum, Saved, Sondos, Gossip, Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Perfecto and AM:PM.

When we approached Harry to do a course, we knew he would provide valuable insight into his production process. But little did we know how amazing this insight would be into his craft and how well it could be translated into a course. Following up his first course, “Building a beat w/ Harry Romero” which released last year and was filmed live on location in Amsterdam at ADE, the feedback was so good, customers were asking for a more from Harry and with more advanced techniques and his complete process. Well, Harry once again over-delivers here with his second course for FaderPro & Toolroom Academy.

Our goal at FaderPro is to capture REAL artists making REAL music in THEIR private studios. To give you the feeling like you are actually sitting next to them collaborating WITH them. Harry does this like no other artist. Like his first course, Harry literally starts with a blank Logic project and builds a record from scratch. But this time, he takes it to a full completion and he leaves no step out along the way. This time, from his private home studios in New Jersey, you get a first-hand perspective into how one of the best house producers on the planet makes his music. Harry explains his creative and technical thoughts for each sound. This is NOT a pre-baked session and we did not EDIT out things for time. You see the entire creative process unfold in real time, just as if you were sitting right next to him start to finish.

PROJECT INCLUDED: This course not only includes the full project session that Harry builds through the course, but we’ve also included is a “native” LogicPro project that you can open and play with stock logic plug-ins even if you don’t have all the same plug-ins that Harry does.

“This is an amazing time to make music and I hope you’ll take something from this and make amazing music!” ~Harry Romero

D. Ramirez is a name that has been synonymous with cutting edge, forward thinking sound since the release of ‘that’ genre defining remix of Bodyrox’s “Yeah Yeah” in 2006. But it’s the rich tapestry of production that followed that continues to entice tidal waves across the dance music industry. Groundbreaking releases such as 2009’s underground anthem “Downpipe” with Underworld & Mark Knight, and the ground-breaking Cevin Fisher collaboration ‘Restless’ in 2012, was a catalyst for the explosion of the recent ‘G-House’ scene. He has achieved five Top 20 hits, and appeared on BBC Television’s music program, Top of the Pops, his highest standing in the mainstream music scene was his remix of Bodyrox’s “Yeah Yeah”, which earned him an Ivor Novello Award nomination.

In 2015, Dean went back in the studio with Mark Knight and, for the first time ever, showed us how one of the biggest Toolroom anthems to date; “Downpipe” was made. The reaction was great and the demand quickly came in for a comprehensive course on making that signature tech-house sound that he made famous.

In this course, Dean will demonstrate exactly how he uses the power of Logic Pro and all it’s features to create tracks from scratch to a finished final master! His “Tech House Masterclass” is one of the most in-depth and technically challenging courses to date. Dean demonstrates everything with an “native” option that allows you to use LogicPro to its fullest extent. In addition, he gives you all the project files and sounds so you can follow-along every step of the way and achieve the exact finished master.
