Want Better Sounding Vocals?

We all want to produce top notch vocals in our recordings. Whether we’re tracking our own songs at home or producing vocals for paid clients, we know that a polished vocal can make or break a recording. But capturing a great vocal is more than just buying a great mic and letting the singer rip. There are some key behind-the-scenes steps that take place in order to create that crystal clear, punchy, and vibrant vocal we all hear on the radio.

Do you identify with any of these statements?

  • My vocals sound lifeless and boring.
  • I can’t seem to get vocalists to deliver a great take in the studio.
  • I hate editing vocals because I can always “hear” my edits.
  • Pitch correction just scares me…I either over do it, or don’t do it right.
  • Compared to my backing tracks, my vocals sound amateur. Like they were obviously recorded at home.

Enter REthink Vocals
REthink Vocals is an in depth, simple to understand, and easy to implement video series that can help you bypass the months and months of trial and error, and teach you everything you need to know to start producing better vocals by this weekend!

With the knowledge you’ll gain from this video series, you’ll notice big improvements in your sessions, including:

  • How to get the most out of your vocalist
  • How to quickly and seamlessly edit your tracks to perfection
  • How to tune vocals without them sounding “tuned”
  • How to get your vocals to sit perfectly in the mix

Who Am I?
My name is Graham Cochrane. I am a full time producer, recording/mix engineer, worship leader, and singer/songwriter. I also am the founder of, a website dedicated to helping people make better music in their home studios. If you’ve watched any of my free video tutorials then you know that I teach in a clear, to the point, and relevant way, enabling you to learn quickly and get on with your music.

I also happen to have been a vocalist my whole life and have produced countless vocal heavy albums. One of my goals has always been to create a tutorial series dedicated to helping people like YOU make better vocal recordings…

Video 1 – Recording And Arranging
Starting with the most important element of the vocal production process, recording, I’ll show you my workflow for helping the vocalist deliver the best take every time. You’ll also learn about how to create an interesting arrangement with your vocals, taking your main vocal line up a notch.

Video 2 – Comping And Editing
REthink Vocals takes you from proper recording and arranging, straight into how the pros tackle the editing process. You’ll learn the fastest way to get a perfect take and how to clean up your tracks in a way that is tight and polished, while at the same time sounding natural and musical.

Video 3 – Pitch Correction
Like it or not, pitch correction is a helpful tool in the studio, allowing you to spot fix notes in order to keep an otherwise perfect performance. In this video, I teach you how to not only approach pitch correction in the most subtle way, but how to actually use today’s two most prominent pitch correction plugins: Melodyne and Autotune. This video alone is like a mini tutorial series!

Video 4 – Mixing
Of course the final step in creating better vocals in your studio is mixing them in with the music. We’ll cover everything from EQ, compression, and de-essing, to delay, reverb, and even mix automation. These powerful mix tools, available in all pro recording software, can take your well recorded, well edited, and well tuned vocals to new heights…allowing your songs to sound polished and cohesive.

Electronic Music wiz Fabio Lendrum shows you how to produce a Trap track from start to finish, including everything that goes on in between. See how to produce this incredibly popular style of music step by step, using your DAW, various plug-ins, and the included downloadable tracks from the production. Get the info you need to make your own Trap masterpieces now. Shown in Logic Pro X, but applicable to any DAW, Fabio begins by welcoming you and then gets right to it, showing how to choose the right samples for the job, and lay out a solid pulse using a hi-hat sequence. Then it’s all about the drum production, where you’ll learn to choose the right kit pieces and program them, while adding more as you go along, creating an exciting, infectious drum part. Synth instruments are next, and Fabio reveals how to choose notes that are in the right key so they all work together to create an interesting melody, and then make a thick pad sound that offers a solid foundation to put your other elements on top of. You’ll then see how to create a fat 808 bass part, and sample your own sounds to create a custom synth.

Vocals are next, and Fabio reveals how to program and effect them for that now classic Trap sound and feel. After that you’ll see how to make the final touches to the production, and then it’s mixing time. Discover how to EQ, Distort, Saturate, Effect, Compress and Sidechain different sounds to make a cohesive mix that suits the Trap genre. Tweaking the final arrangement is then shown, as well as how to master the production, and more.

If you’re into Trap music and want to know how to produce it, or just want to know more about the genre and it’s elements, this video tutorial series hits the nail on the head… watch “U Produce™ Trap” now.
