Continuing on, you’ll discover practical workflows and the benefits to quantizing and humanizing your drum MIDI parts, and how to apply velocity normalization and velocity curve adjustments for better dynamics. Luke concludes the series by creating a killer drum groove and fill from scratch while applying all of the principles learned in this course.

Audio Concepts series!

As a follow-up to Audio Concepts, this course explains just how those “real world” acoustical FX are recreated in the studio using plugins. Learn how these delay-based effects function and are deployed in this hands-on course. Recording engineers spend much time and energy trying to record audio as pristine as possible. In the process, for the most part, any sense of acoustic space is of secondary importance when compared to the perfect capture of the primary sound. The reason for that is many and is reinforced by the the ability to add back the the room & space when mixing. This course –picking up where the Acoustics course left off– is filled with lots of in-depth explanations and animations explaining how all the major time-based effects work. Combined with an abundance of sonic examples, you learn how best to apply these FX adding depth, body and presence to enhance the sound of your productions.

Articulations and Templates

Visual Orchestration 2: Articulations & Templates – From Orchestration to Setting Up the Virtual Orchestral Mix (Foundation For MIDI Mock-Ups) contains ten new video lectures, totaling 7.46 hours, distilling the core principles of a college course on basic orchestration directly applied to sample libraries and MIDI mock-up applications complete with audio demos. Whether you read or don’t read music, you’ll get gangbusters out of Visual Orchestration 2.

Your Intro to Effectively Mixing Your MIDI Mock-Ups
Visual Orchestration 2: Articulations & Templates™ goes through the “mechanics” (articulations) for strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion, by defining what articulations and bowings are, performance insights, and how both apply to sample library purchasing, and evaluating existing libraries. The second focus is learning the concepts of setting up a virtual orchestral mix within your template, e.g., getting everyone into the same room. As with Visual Orchestration 1, Visual Orchestration 2 distills the core principles of orchestrating so that the ability to read music is not required. The focus is on the things you do by ear referencing the Spectrotone Chart. as your visual guide.

End Results
By the end of Visual Orchestration 2, whether you read music or create by ear, you’ll know the orchestral instruments, the key articulations and bowings that go into a template, dynamic equivalents applied to the virtual orchestra, plus setting up the virtual orchestral mix.

How To Make Deep House 2018

SYNTHiC4TE | Nov 19 2018 | 3.69 GB

Starting with a template, we build different grooves in the session view before adding bass lines, the all important jazz style chords, sampled pads, sax and vocals, so we have a variety of loops to choose from. We then build a selection of different scenes so we can record them live into the arrangement view before going more in-depth to edit and tweak our arrangement into a more structured song. Finally we add automation to create interest and help with transitions, before mixing down the track and carrying out a self-master so it’s ready for the club. Packed full of tips and tricks from a certified Ableton instructor, we guarantee you’ll pick up some new techniques to take your skillz to the next level with this one! Enjoy!

How To Use Chromaphone 2

SYNTHiC4TE | Nov 19 2018 | 106 MB

‘How To Use’ course – and this time he’s checking out Chromaphone 2. This cool and incredibly organic sounding VSTi is a Percussion Synthesizer that can create authentic tuned and unpitched percussion, along with other instruments, from scratch meaning you can create and design your own completely unique sounds instead of using samples. The sound engine features two resonators, each of which has eight possible modes: open and closed tube, marimba, beam, membrane, plate, string and manual modes. These resonators may be used in parallel (ie. independently), or coupled so that each modulates the other. Chromaphone then uses mallet and noise modules that simulate the difference in sound between soft and hard beaters giving you a multitude of outcomes and timbres. In this two-part course, 2Scoops firstly checks out the user interface and how the synth works demonstrating some of the presets before moving on to using Chromaphone on a track, shaping his own sounds for bass, leads and percussion.

Chromaphone literally means ‘colourful sound’, and this plugin lives up to its name. From a ‘plink’ of a short string to the crash of a detuned gong it’s a highly versatile and inspirational piece of software.

And with over 300 presets at your disposal too, it’s a whole load of fun!
