gEQ12 is 12 band stereo/MS graphic equalizer with accurate spectrum analyzer and minimum/linear phase modes. Today’s mixing and mastering processes require a full featured but easy to use equalizer which can accurately shape the tone of a track , bus or master track. eEQ12 provides all necessary tools in one package paired with some unique features. The display shows the spectrum curve of incoming and outgoing signal. gEQ12 has the unique feature that the outgoing spectrum is directly calculated from incoming spectrum (incoming spectrum – filter curve = outgoing spectrum). This allows you to capture the incoming signal, to freeze it and to modify then the filter curve based on the altered outgoing spectrum. The filter response is controlled by 12 individual filter bands. Each filter band has its own display handle, which can be adjusted by mouse.

gEQ12 consists of 12 stereo filter in series. Each filter can be configured individually by setting type, stereo placement (all, left/mid and right/side), slope, frequency, gain and q-factor. gEQ12 offers 9 analog modeled and 8 digital (Butterworth) filter. The filter quality can be increased by using oversampling. This ensures “analog” filter magnitude/phase response near Nyquist frequency. On top of it gEQ12 can operate in several minimum or linear phase modes, which can lower CPU usage and makes filter phase response linear.

DC8C is one of the most flexible compressors around.

While making a lot of different compression styles possible, it’s general nature may be described as: clear, smooth, open, distinct.The main goal while designing DC8C was to get a very clean compressor action without unwanted and often almost unevitable artefacts/distortion. This way you can achieve almost invisible compression for your most demanding mastering sessions, when you want to avoid coloration. If you aim for colour you can choose between two saturation models. Blue Cat’s MB-7 Mixer is a unique plug-in that splits the signal into several frequency bands and lets you mix and process them as if they were separate tracks. Each band proposes controls that can be found on a mixing console, and more: bypass, mute or solo each band separately to isolate frequencies you want to work on, adjust the gain, the “stereoness” and the position in the stereo field. When manipulating the stereo image, a master mono switch also lets you check mono compatibility.

The plug-in can also operate as a multiband VST and Audio Unit host: you can process each band independently with your favorite VST or Audio Unit plug-ins! Up to four plug-ins can be loaded on each band, pre or post fader. Latency compensation, presets management, undo/redo integration, and individual plug-in bypass are included for optimal operation.

The VCL-373 is a recreation of an early 60s broadcasting limiter/compressor that eventually found its way into many mastering studios. 1963 marks a technological shift in that the famous diode-bridge based gain reduction stage was replaced by a transistor-based circuit that allowed for less THD and more reliable control voltage tracking. The plugin includes a faithful emulation of the audio transformers, the crucial feedback compression circuitry as well as the discrete class A make-up amplifier. Some convenient features including a continuous drive control, gain compensation, GR metering and a dry/wet mix have been added in the digital domain.

Mikron Delay has been inspired by the classic bucket brigade delays and tape delays of the past.
